Tom Glinkowski is a Polish-American filmmaker from the suburbs of Houston, Texas. He grew up worshiping the Discovery Channel docuseries Movie Magic, watching in awe as artists revealed how dinosaurs were brought to life in Jurassic Park and how iconic cityscapes were vaporized in Independence Day. To this day, the desire to create magic of his own continues to fuel Tom's passion for cinematic storytelling.

Tom's career began at Marvel Studios, where he had the unique opportunity to learn creative development during the creation of the first three phases of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (Iron Man, Iron Man 2, Thor, Captain America: The First Avenger, and Iron Man 3). In Phase 2 of his own career, he worked directly with a number of accomplished filmmakers including writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick (Zombieland, Deadpool), Oscar-winning director Tom McCarthy (Spotlight), and Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning writer Brian Yorkey (Next to Normal, 13 Reasons Why).

As a lead creative producer on Netflix's 13 Reasons Why and Echoes, Tom showcased his ability to effectively manage crews while crafting compelling, critically and commercially successful narratives. He also served as second unit director on Echoes, shooting a variety of insert, drone, driving, VFX, and stunt shots used throughout the series. Tom recently shot his directorial debut, Draft Night, which premiered at the 2024 Dances With Films festival.
